Artisan Empowerment: From Soil to Soil
At SOIL, every handcrafted piece tells a story — not just of art form, but of resilience. Our mission is to empower artisan families across India, ensuring their skills are valued in the global wellness and luxury market.
Transforming Livelihoods
In 2023, SOIL began with 500 artisan families.
By 2026, that number has grown to 1,200 — each family earning sustainable income through fair wages and transparent trade.
Target for 2028: 5,000 families empowered.
Preserving Heritage
Traditional designing, spinning, weaving, sewing, knitting, hand painting, natural dyeing, sculpting are not just crafts — they are cultural legacies that date back 3000 years.
SOIL integrates these into contemporary wellness products, ensuring artisans remain custodians of heritage while fulfilling the escalating demand of conscious consumers in global markets.
Global Exposure
SOIL artisans now showcase their work across the Globe.
From yoga mats in Sweden, USA, Germany to Tibetan Boots in Paris, Indian craftsmanship is finding new homes worldwide.
Closing Note
Aligned to 5 of 17 UNSDG’s, SOIL is not just commerce — its social impact is woven into ethical, sustainable lifestyles – for the wellbeing of people and our beloved planet. By empowering artisans, SOIL is re-building a bridge between India’s soil and world's need for conscious lifestyle, planet and environmentally safe products.
