Japa Yoga : Japa Mala/Prayer Beads, Rudraksha in Sterling Silver

₹6,999.00Price

This rudraksha mala consisting of 27 plus one Guru bead is threaded in sterling silver, particularly designed to remain un-entangled and easeful while rotating. The greatest significance of these rudrakasha seeds is that they all come from one specific tree that was planted and is tended to, in the most sacred environs of a spiritual haven where mantra repetition and chanting, amongst other sacred rituals have been practised on a continuum, over decades. Their purity and sacred energy is invaluable, as it is thereafter enjoined into its threaded form by master craftsmen who are students of YOGA and aligned to spiritual practices. Blessed are the few, who may hold this mala in reverence.

Rudrakasha malas or rosaries for repetitive prayer - japa YOGA, are highly revered amongst the Hindus and some Asian communities during meditation and for spiritual attainment of concentration, control of mind and tranquility. When worn as a necklace or bracelet, it is believed to ward off and act as a shield against negative energies in as much as build fearlessness and resistance against health disorders. These beads are the seed of the Rudraksha fruit (also known as blueberry beads) obtained from Rudraksha trees that grow in the lower Himalayan region, Indonesia as well as Hawaii. Different qualities are attributed to the rudraksha based on the number of grooves, or faces that it has. A rudraksha with five divisions is considered to be symbolic of the five faces of Lord Shiva. A common belief was that Sadhus or Yogis (mendicants) living in forests would have to resort to naturally available water sources and upon holding the rudraksha above the water it would rotate clockwise if the water was pure and drinkable, or else it would move counter-clockwise. This test was also believed to be valid for other edibles. Mantra: A Mantra is an invocation, a sacred utterance, sound, syllable, word, or group of words believed to have spiritual powers. The spiritual value of a mantra comes when it is audible, visible, or present in thought. Believed to be older than language the earliest mantras were composed in Vedic times at least 3000 years ago. Mantras/Chants exist across virtually all schools of Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism, in as much as in Islam, Christianity, Taoism or Judaism. The practice of mantra repetition is said to transform a person's vibrations, energize their chakras, and rekindle their mind, body and spirit to a higher state of consciousness.
